In the present invention there are disclosed pyrrolopyrimidine compounds of the general formula I in which the general symbols have specific meaning, further intermediates for their preparation as well as pharmaceutical preparations based thereon. These compound exhibit antagonistic activity against corticotrophin release factor (CRF) and therefore they can be used for treating diseases connected with stress and other diseases.
