PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spindle sealing means from being damaged by cooling the spindle sealing means including a mechanical seal with a simple and low-cost structure. SOLUTION: This pump is provided with a fluid feeding passage 17 which is provided with a cooling means 18 and through which a part of discharge fluid is flowed back via a spindle sealing means 9 into a pump house 4, and the part of discharge fluid is subjected to natural circulation through the fluid feeding passage 17 by differential pressure. Since cooling water can be fed to a spindle sealing means with a simple and low-cost structure, the spindle sealing means is surely prevented from being damaged.
