PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sprinkling water and picking cultured laver and mechanism therefor enabling easy attaching and detaching, preventing the non-uniform breakage and cutting miss by the sprinkling of water, effective for preventing disease injury and capable of shortening the time for the loading and unloading work. SOLUTION: A water-ejection pipe 1 acting also as a ruler is placed on a picking machine main body 4 loaded on a work boat. The water-ejection pipe 1 is freely attachable and detachable with a fixing pin to enable the positioning and easily exchangeable with a single-purpose water-ejection pipe. A net-receiving water-ejection pipe 2 is placed in front of the picking machine in a freely attachable and detachable manner. The water-ejection nozzle is placed at a position not to hinder the passage of the net and is usable in multi- purpose use not only for the picking work.
