摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the quantity of water conveyed by narrowing a water-conveyance space in a joint fitting section, and to improve water cutoff properties by integrally forming projecting bodies for spacing brought into contact with the fitting inscribing surfaces of other joint sections to the fitting inscribing surfaces of mutually fitted joint sections in a steel sheet pile with the joint sections. SOLUTION: Joint sections 5, 6 have pawl sections 10 respectively, and the pawl sections 10 are engaged mutually by engaging surfaces 14 when the mutually opposed joint sections 5, 6 are fitted. Projecting bodies 7 are formed at the front ends 11 of the pawl sections 10 and base ends 13 in a pair of each joint section 5, 6. Pawl-section rears (the first fitting inscribing surfaces) 15 in case of the fitting of the joint sections 5, 6 and the internal surfaces (the second fitting internal surfaces) 16 of the joint sections on the opposite sides oppositely faced to the rears 16 are coated with, swelling water stops 8. The water-conveyance spaces of joint fitting sections are narrowed by contacts with the fitting inscribing surfaces 15 of the projecting bodies 7, and the quantity of water conveyed is reduced largely. Sections among the fitting inscribing surfaces 15, 16 among the two projecting bodies 7 are not brought into contact mutually, and specified voids are formed surely.
