PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for forming levee, capable of forming a levee with a pre-treating member and a levee-arranging member and simultaneously forming a groove on the inside of the levee. SOLUTION: This machine for coating a levee is attached to the rear portion of a travel frame, and is provided with a pre-treating member which receives a power from the travel frame and tills a part of an original levee and a field to form a levee-like bank, and with a polygonal conical drum-like levee- arranging member 10 for rotating the tilled soil and simultaneously forming the levee. (1) A grooving device 10 for simultaneously forming a groove on the inside of the levee, when the levee is formed with the pre-treating member and the levee-arranging member 10. (2) A groove-reshaping roller 14 for compacting a track tilled with the pre-treating member and forming a groove is disposed. (3) A colter faced to the inner edge of the polygonal conical drum 11 and a soil-removing plate for removing soil between the colter and the inner edge of the polygonal conical drum 11 are disposed. (4) A compacting roller for compacting the base portion of the levee arranged with the polygonal conical drum 11, and a soil-removing plate for removing soil on the inside of the compacting roller to form a groove are disposed.
