PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide metallic folded-plate roof structure, in which the cost of members is reduced without requiring a supporting frame and construction cost can be curtailed when a metallic folded plate, in which a metallic sheet is bent in a chevron shape, is roofed on a roof base material, and a holding member for a metallic folded-plate roof. SOLUTION: In this structure of the metallic folded-plate roof roofed on a roof base material while each chevron section of a plurality of metallic sheet members 16 having the first and second chevron sections 12, 14 on both end sides is fitted, the first chevron sections 12 have the first bent sections 20 and the first recessed grooves 22, the second chevron sections 14 have the second bent sections 26 with terminals 24 engaged with the first bent sections 20, the second recessed grooves 28 fitted into the first recessed grooves 22 and the third bent sections 30, and the first chevron sections 12 have vertical sections 32, which are erected from the first recessed grooves 22 and in which lower ends are extended on the roof base material, and horizontal sections 34 coupled with he vertical sections 32 and continuously connected to the vertical sections 32 while being fast stuck and abutted onto the roof base material in an approximately L shape.
