DIAL LOCK JOINT FOR HIP JOINT AND HIP JOINT OUTFIT INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial lock joint for a hip joint and a hip joint outfit for preventing forward luxation caused by exceed extension of the hip joint and backward luxation caused by exceed flexion. SOLUTION: A first prop 1 having a span from a flank of a human body to a hip joint section and a second prop 2 having a span from the hip joint section to an outside femur are connected to change an angle between the first prop 1 and the second prop 2 at a pin 3. A substantially disc-like plate 4 for angle control having a claw 5 at an outer periphery is fixed by centering the pin 3 at one of the props. When a fixing means 6 disposed at the other prop is released, the angle between the both props is changed within a range until the claw 5 touches to the other prop. The plate 4 is preferably fixed in such a way that a position of the claw 5 can be changed by centering the pin 3 at every fixed angle. When two pieces of plates are provided in such a way that the position of the claw 5 can be different, a limit for moving can be realized in both direction of flexion and extension. The first prop 1 of the joint of the structure is fixed to a body supporting section and the second prop 2 is fixed to a femur supporting section in this outfit.
