HAPTEN COMPOUND OF CARBARYL, ANTIBODY AND DETERMINATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound producible an antibody reacting with carbaryl or its fragment and useful for immunological determination, etc., by introducing a functional group having a specific structure and usable for a spacer arm of a carbaryl part and bonding to a high polymer. SOLUTION: This compound has a structure of formula I. The compound is obtained by, e.g. reacting 1-naphthol having a structure of formula II with a reagent generating phosgene, etc., in a solvent such as toluene, in the presence of a base such as sodium hydroxide at a temp. from -20 deg.C to the boiling point of the solvent for about 30 m-24 h, then reacting the resultant compound with 4-aminomethylcyclohexane carboxylic acid having a structure of formula III in a solvent in the presence of a base at a temp. from -20 deg.C to a boiling point of the solvent for about 30 m-40 h.
