The device includes a holder for fixing the foot in a predetermined position. The holder has a foot clamping device with a receptacle space (8) for the foot and at least one movable contact plates (11a,11b,11c) which is connected to an actuator drive (10a,10b,10c). To measure the pressure exerted by a contact plate on the foot, a pressure sensor (12a,12b,12c) is provided. The pressure sensor and actuator drive are coupled to a controller which limits the pressure exerted.
