GENOTYPING CYTOCHROME EXPRESSION

There is disclosed a method of identifying subjects having a high or low dru g metabolising phenotype associated with cytochrome CYP3A5 expression, which method comprises screening genomic DNA from said subject for the presence or absence of one or more polymorphic variants in a transcription regulatory region of the sequence encoding CYP3A5. Oligonucleotide molecules for carryi ng out the screening are also provided.
