A mounting ring for a bearing has a sleeve (1) which is pressed between the outer bearing ring and the mounting recess to prevent the bearing ring rotating. The mounting ring has U-shaped slots stamped pressed into its outer profile to form tags (4) which grip into the inside wall of the recess. To enhance the grip the outer edges of the tags are bent upwards. The tags also grip the inside lip of the groove in the recess for axial stability. |
