<p>The present invention relates to novel Brainiac-5 polypeptides which are members of the Brainiac family. In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding the human Brainiac-5 polypeptides. Brainiac-5 polypeptides are also provided as are vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of Brainiac-5 activities. Also provided are diagnostic methods for detecting immune and nervous system-related disorders and therapeutic methods for treating, preventing, and/or diagnosing immune and nervous system-related disorders.</p> |
