PURPOSE: A lightweight putty for construction is provided, which does not generate the problems such as cracking, shrinkage and expansion even if the thickness of dried coating layer reaches 10 mm. CONSTITUTION: A putty for construction comprises 15-25 wt% of a binder of a synthetic copolymer resin; a filler of inorganic powder; 35-45 wt% of a reinforcing filler of calcium carbonate; 0.5-2 wt% of a polyethylene fibrous material; 0.5-2 wt% of an antifoaming agent; 0.15-0.5 wt% of a dispersing agent; 0.2-0.5 wt% of a pigment; 0.1-0.2 wt% of a pH controlling agent; 0.2-0.5 wt% of a coating layer forming agent; 0.12-0.19 wt% of a preservative; and 0.05-0.2 wt% of a freezing preventing agent. Preferably the polyethylene fibrous material is such that the aspect ratio (L/D) is 20:1 to 30:1. |
