WHITENING COSMETIC BASE COMPOSITION COMPRISING MUNG BEAN EXTRACT

PURPOSE: Mung extract has excellent inhibiting activity of melanin formation. A whitening cosmetic base composition comprising mung bean extract as a whitening component has an excellent clinical whitening effect, and improves the stability thereof in preparation and the safety on the skin. CONSTITUTION: A mung bean extract can be prepared by the following steps of: adding water, acetone, ethylacetate or 1,3 butyleneglycol aqueous solution in the powder of mung bean; heating the solution at 50-90°C for 1-20 hrs( or 5-40°C for 1-15 days) in the extractor installed with a cooling condenser; and decompression concentration of the extract solvent in the distillatory equipment.
