METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY OPENING AND RETURNING ROLL GAP OF COLD ROLLER

PURPOSE: A method for automatically opening and returning a roll gap of a cold roller is provided to automatically perform an open of roll gap at a finish of work and a returning of roll gap at a start of work during a process to roll a rolling material to a certain thickness through a multi-staged roller in a cold rolling process. CONSTITUTION: A control value of roll gap is set for setting the roll gap of a cold roller according to a driving of an equipment and inputs of a roll gap opening switch and a roll gap returning switch. When the control value of roll gap is set, a driving signal of cylinder is set to control a driving of cylinder according to a deviation of a roll gap real value and the roll gap control value by detecting the roll gap real value of each roller. A cylinder of an appropriate roller is driven according to the set driving signal of cylinder. When the control value of roll gap and the real value of roll gap are conformed, the opening of roll gap and the returning of roll gap are finished by stopping the driving of cylinder.
