DIALING METHOD USING NAME IN PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A dialing method using a name in the private branch exchange system is to provide a method dialing by inputting the name of a receiver and by searching a registered phone number without directly inputting the phone number of a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A control part judges whether a system speed dialing function is selected from a subscriber terminal(21). If the system speed dialing function is selected, the control part displays a menu associated with the system speed dialing function on a display part of the terminal(220). The control part judges whether a letter input mode is selected from the terminal(230). If the character input mode is selected, the control part outputs a name input request message to the display part of the terminal(240). The control part receives an input of a character equivalent to the first letter of the name of the opposite side(250). The control part searches names starting from the inputted character to output to the display part of the terminal through a subscriber access part.
