PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for storing data of non-volatile memory semiconductor card is provided to prevent a loss of a data and a damage of an equipment, by sensing a break-away of a non-volatile memory semiconductor card. CONSTITUTION: A length of a signal input and output terminal and a length of a power terminal are differently composed. A control unit of a non-volatile memory semiconductor card monitors a charge and discharge state of the signal input and output terminal and an urgent signal terminal. A data process is stopped, and last security information is recorded and a power saving mode is performed when the control unit monitors a discharge state. The control unit identifies last security information when a power is supplied, and a last process state or a normal state is recovered before the power is supplied.
