PURPOSE: A method for transmitting and receiving the originating number of a mobile communication terminal is provided to transmit an originating number with a call connection signal using an incoming side terminal when the key input according to paging request is detected. CONSTITUTION: If a user turns on the power of a mobile communication terminal(ST11), a microprocessor increases or decreases the demodulation frequency of a RF signaling part sequently, and searches radio carriers received through an antenna(ST12,ST13). The microprocessor receives broadcasting channel(BCCH) from a base station(ST14), and reads its international mobile subscriber identity(ST15). The microprocessor judges whether there is a key input according to paging request(ST16). The user generates a call access signal and reads an originating number registered previously in a subscriber identity module(S17), and transmits a combination of the call access signal and the originating number to the associated base station through the RF signaling part(ST18).
