PURPOSE: A method for managing a legacy communication network equipment through a TMN manager graphic user interface is provided to maintain consistency between information about a communication network equipment of a management object of a TMN and information about a practical communication network equipment. CONSTITUTION: A method for managing a legacy communication network equipment through a TMN manager graphic user interface comprises the following steps. A management message generated from a legacy communication network equipment is transmitted to a gateway. A TMN manager GUI management command is generated by confirming a result of a management command of the legacy network management system. The TMN GUI management command is transmitted to the TMN manager. A management command is requested by processing the TMN GUI management command. The management command is performed.
