HIGH-TEMPERATURE INTER-METAL ALLOY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method of preparing high-temperature inter-metal alloy is provided to be excellent in toughness at normal temperature with low density. CONSTITUTION: An inter-metal alloy consists of 5-15% of titanium, 30-40% of vanadium and the rest of aluminium. The inter-metal alloy is obtained by melting the alloy, treating the alloy at a temperature of 800-1000°C and cooling it with water. Therefore, the product is excellent in toughness at normal temperature.
