METHOD FOR INCREASING VISUAL EFFECT OF TITLE USING CONCENTRATION HISTOGRAM

PURPOSE: An increasing method for a visual effect of a title using a concentration histogram is provided to generate the title shown in a processing process of video image to a layer image and to show more clearly without regard to a background texture. CONSTITUTION: An output buffer is generated to receive an input from a video stream and to transfer to a rendered filter. A layer image to output on the video stream is generated by receiving a data of a title, a coordinates to output the layer image is calculated and an information is stored. A concentration of layer image is compensated by writing a look-up data and checking a concentration histogram of an image data. That is, the concentration of the layer image is compensated when a representative concentration is decided by using the histogram in the look-up table and a critical value corresponds to the layer image by deciding the critical value of the representative concentration.
