PROCESS FOR RECOVERY OF ORGANIC ACID

PURPOSE: A process for recovery of organic acid is provided to simplify the working process and overcome the inefficiency of related conventional processes so that the investments and costs needed to operation and retainment of the process can be saved. CONSTITUTION: A process for recovery of fermented liquids of organic acid is characterized in that the process comprises the steps: a) removing impurities of the fermented liquids by membrane means for precision filtration and recycling microorganisms into the fermentation tank; b) introducing the fermented liquids obtained the step a) into a water-splitting electrodialyzer to recover the organic acids; and c) adding the minimum amount of nutrients to waste fermented liquids remained as a waste after the water-splitting electrodialysis step and then recycling the liquids to the fermentation step as a reclaimed medium.
