PURPOSE: A method for shortening the initial time of the switching system is provided to shorten initial time using a compressed PLD(Processor Load Data). CONSTITUTION: According to the control of an OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor)(100), a non-compressed PLD and a compressed PLD in a magnetic tape(110) are loaded in a disk(120)(213). If a loading request signal from a MP(Main Processor)(150) is inputted to the OMP(213), the OMP determines whether the loading request signal is a system initial loading request signal or a general loading request signal(215). In case of the system initial loading request signal, the OMP transmits a processor status request signal to the MP(217). Correspondingly, the MP checks processor status and transmits a processor status response signal(219). Corresponding to the processor status response signal, the OMP searches the CROS(Concurrent Real-time Operating System) of the disk, the DBKG(Data Base Kernel Group) of the data base and a PL(221). The OMP reads and loads the CROS, the DBKG and the PL(221) to the disk(223). The OMP searches and reads the compressed PLD loaded in the disk(227,229). The OMP transmits the header value of the compressed PLD to the MP(231).
