PURPOSE: An information service providing system during digital broadcasting and method thereof are provided to enable users to watch the data which they require without changing channels. CONSTITUTION: An information service providing system during digital broadcasting includes an information provider operator server, a key input, and a display(19). The display outputs digital broadcasting signal transmitted from a broadcasting center. The information provider operator server includes database storage which are connected to the display through a network(15). The key input transmits key input signals to the display. The display outputs the information which users require during broadcasting without changing channels. The display also blocks the program that users select by using the key input.
