PURPOSE: A management method of workstation cluster video server and its files is provided to make total workstations used effectively in needs of a data request of a user by dispersing and storing data. CONSTITUTION: A management method of files is made in a connected workstation of workstation cluster video server. When the server starts to operate, the connected workstation measures and records performances of each system. By using performance information, a performance table of workstations is written. And new data is dispersed and stored according to the performance of each workstation. If the user requests new data, the connected workstation transmits requested packet after dispersing.
