PURPOSE: A system and method for payment is provided so that all price payments can be performed through an existing payment line of a wireless communication network in an electronic commerce service and other internet services. CONSTITUTION: A specific client connects to a specific internet site through his/her wireless communication unit or internet connection unit(S10), and generates at least one buying event in the internet site(S20). The ID and secret number of the wireless communication unit inputted by the client in the buying event and the specific code information of the internet site provider are provided to a mobile communication service company where the client is registered(S50). The identity of the client is confirmed by using the ID and secret number(S60). The authentication for the buying event is requested to the client through the wireless communication unit(S70). When the buying event is authenticated, the internet site provider is discriminated by using the specific code information(S80). A price for the buying event is paid to the internet site provider after discrimination(S90). The mobile communication service company transmits the price payment results for each event to the client in a real time(S100).
