PURPOSE: A method for generating an address for compensating a picture motion is provided to simplify composition of a memory address generation block of a decoder. CONSTITUTION: A method for generating an address for compensating a picture motion classifies an address necessary to read data of MC(Motion Compensation) buffer storing a data which a motion is compensated and an IDCT(Inverse Discrete Cosine Transform) buffer storing a data transformed by the IDCT, sum finally and store according to brightness/chrominance signal. The address is classified into a frame type(fr) and a field type(fd) according to a compressing/a displaying mode to change and use a bit order of a read or a write count signal. |
