PURPOSE: A coupler type adding/detracting filter of an optical communication system is provided to transmit a plurality of signals simultaneously by regulating the transition of a reflection wave through a variable reflection wave transition section. CONSTITUTION: A coupler type adding/detracting filter of an optical communication system comprises an optical fiber(410), a connecting portion(420), a connecting portion(430), a variable reflection wave transition portion(440) and a transition amount regulating section(450). The connecting portion(420) connects the inputting and detracting end and a multi-core optical fiber(410). The connecting portion(420) connects the inputting and adding end and a multi-core optical fiber(410). The transition amount regulating section(450) is connected to the variable reflection wave transition portion(440).
