摘要 PURPOSE: A deposition roll for coating molten metal is provided to form a coating layer by using Al2O3 excellent in abrasion resistance and adding ZrO2 to secure thermal impact resistance and shock resistance. CONSTITUTION: A coating layer is formed to constitute a matrix to alloy Al2O3 and ZrO2 and abrasion resistance of the coating layer is secured by dispersing Al2O3 particles into the coating layer. A large amount of ZrO2 content improves thermal impact resistance and shock resistance, but the excessive amount reduces abrasion resistance. The amount of ZrO2 is preferably about 15-40wt%. The porosity of the coating layer is in 10% to prevent a zinc tub from eroding along the pores. To secure thermal impact resistance and shock resistance of the coating layer, a lower coating layer is formed by a cobalt alloy layer or cobalt alloy layer/cobalt alloy+oxide layer under the coating layer.
