PURPOSE: A method for interrupt arbitration is provided to disregard the identification of interrupt occurrence and to expedite the interrupt processing by requesting interruption to CPU in the order interruption occurs when the number of interruptions exceeds the maximum capacity. CONSTITUTION: A method for interrupt arbitration is composed of input, confirmation, arbitration, and interruption. Several interrupt signals(IRQCHIP1¯IRQCHIP4), generated by multiple circuit chip device(11), are inputted to interrupt arbitration device(12). Interrupt arbitration device confirms the appropriate interrupt signal to the state machine, inputs an interrupt request signal(IRQINT) and interrupt progress signal(INT_STATE) to the CPU(13), and arbitrates the interruptions in the order of occurrence to the CPU. When CPU receives IRQINT signal. CPU reads INT_STATE signal from interrupt arbitration device, identifies the appropriate interruption signal from multiple circuit chip device's interrupt signals(IRQCHIP1¯IRQCHIP4), and executes proper interruption.
