PURPOSE: A system for operating a personal portal web site is provided to build an optimum internet environment basis, by making the user's web site to compose the user's portal. CONSTITUTION: A web service system receives web services of an operator server computer via an internet network, through computers of main customers/sub customers/general customers. The web service system comprises a database(20), a web service functional unit(100), an operator server computer(10). The database classifies and stores data for the main customers and for the sub customers related to each main customer only. The web service functional unit is composed of a meeting room supplier(110), a document managing box(130), a mobile web function supplier(120), and an image transmitter(140). Communications with customers are performed in the meeting room supplier. The document managing box manages personal E-mail documents. The mobile web function supplier transmits messages to pagers or cellular phones. The image transmitter stores and transmits various images. The operator server computer controls the entire web service system, and transmits a control signal according as general computers are connected. The operator server computer informs the main customers of the sub customers related to specific main customers through the database. The operator server computer makes the main customers operate the web services for the sub customers.
