PURPOSE: A method for constructing mixed-type graves is provided to reduce costs and to manage graves easily by constructing the graves for every family with good points of traditional graves and charnel houses. CONSTITUTION: A burial unit(100) consists of a rectangular mound(10) and a burial chamber(20) in the mound. Rectangular tomb rims(11) are placed around the mound and the burial chamber forms a hollow(21) of a grave by digging in the ground. Stone plates(22) are provided on the inner wall of the hollow. The mound is formed by making the hollow, placing a burial case having a corpse or the corpse itself in the burial chamber directly and burying the case with earth.
