PURPOSE: A method for setting a subscriber service function of a switching system is provided to offer a service for registering and releasing a special function by setting a desired service according to an information broadcasting related to registration and release of a special function of a voice processing unit connected to a switching system. CONSTITUTION: When a call is generated for registration and release of a special function, service subscriber information is transmitted. The matters related to registration and release of a special function according to the service subscriber information is broadcasted to a general service subscriber. Information selected by the general service subscriber is registered or released according to the information broadcasting.
