摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the strain and/or tensile force of a test piece by having laser beams irradiated to the surface of the test piece from multiple directions, and receiving and analyzing the diffusively reflected light with a shear interferometer. SOLUTION: A laser beam 3, which is first coherent light having a first incidence, angle and a laser beam 4 having a second incidence angle are radiated to the surface 7 of a test piece 8. The light reflected diffusively from the surface 7 of the test piece 8 is received and analyzed by a shear interferometer 6. The first laser beam 3, the second laser beam 4 and the observation direction 5 of the shear interferometer 6 exist in the plane perpendicular to the surface 7 of the test piece 8, i.e., in the plane perpendicular to the z-plane. A defect on the sidewall of a tire can be accurately recognized, and a defect on the reinforcing belt edge of the tire can be recognized with high accuracy, for example. An analysis or an image process can be quickly implemented without the application of demodulation.
