发明名称 WET FRICTION MATERIAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet friction material high in the capacity of retaining an oil in sliding, particularly having excellent frictional performance under a heavy load condition and having high durability. SOLUTION: A wet friction material is obtained by subjecting a sheet molded product which has been obtained by heat curing a thermosetting resin- impregnated sheet prepared from a fiber component and a filler by the papermaking method and molding the cured sheet and a metallic support plate to thermocompression bonding and is in a porous form having a dibutyl phthalate(DBP) volume ratio of 20-50%, provided that the value of DBP volume ratio (vol.%) is obtained by impregnating the sheet molded product with DBP, removing part of the impregnated DBP by centrifugal separation at a predetermined rotational speed, measuring the remaining DBP in the sheet molded product, and calculating the DBP volume ratio in the sheet molded product.
