<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device free of deterioration of image quality resulting from uneven accumulation of developer. SOLUTION: The device is composed so that even when an upper structure 100 is fully opened after turned, an opened angleθremains in the range of 15 deg.±1 deg. by means of a stopper 70. The value of the opened angleθis smaller than the minimum value 20 deg. of the repose angle of developer 52. The upper structure is turned by only an angle not larger than the repose angle of the developer stored in a developer storage container, and, therefore, even after the turn of the upper structure the developer stored in the developer storage container does not unevenly accumulate toward one side of the container. Accordingly, the developer is uniformly supplied to an image carrier without the occurrence of uneven supply of the developer and, therefore, deterioration of image quality is prevented.</p> |
