PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a holographic screen, which is capable of providing automatic stereoscopic or stereoscopic images and animation images of any sizes by exposing respective elements and developing these elements, in such a manner regions or strips appear at the same points during the time of reproduction by reproducing rays to irradiate all the elements. SOLUTION: For example, this holography region element 11 is selected as the holography region element to be exposed. A light cone 12 which is formed by a projector 4 and is converged into a perpendicular strip 3 is holographically recorded within this holography region element 11. The holography region element is further exposed by a reference laser beam 13 in order to record the light cone 12. Respective elements are exposed by the objective rays and reference rays inclusive of the regions or strips and are so developed, that the regions or strips appear at the same points during the time of the reproduction by the reproducing rays.
