PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized attenuator with a low loss and excellent mass-productivity where fluctuation in a change in attenuation with respect to dispersion in resistance of resistive components can be reduced. SOLUTION: A series connection of a switch 5 and a 4th resistor 14 is connected in parallel with a 1st resistor 4 connected between main lines connected to input and output terminals for a high frequency signal, a parallel connection of a FET 10 and a 5th resistor 15 is connected to ground via a 2nd receiver 9, a parallel connection of a FET 12 and a 6th resistor 16 is connected to ground via a 3rd receiver 11. The FETs 10, 12 are nonconductive when the switch 5 is closed, and the FETs 10, 12 are conductive when the switch 5 is open. Thus, the small-sized attenuator with a low loss can be realized, where fluctuation in a change in attenuation with respect to dispersion in resistance of resistive components is reduced.
