PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a pointer capable of executing ring illumination which is easily produced by making the structure of the pointer simple. SOLUTION: This pointer 1 is constituted of a housing 2, an axicone lens 3 attached to one end 20 of the housing 2, which is made open, and a light emitting part 4 housed inside the housing 2. The lens 3 has only to be constituted so that an apex angle formed on its 1st surface 30 is about 180 deg., to put it more concretely, within 179.4 deg. to 178 deg.. In this case, the lens 3 is provided with a conical lens part 31 whose apex angleθis 179 deg. and whose thickness (d) is 0.1 mm and molded so that its 2nd surface 32 may be a perpendicular plane to an optical axis A. The light emitting part 4 is constituted of a power source part 40, a device part 41 and a semiconductor laser part 42.
