METHOD FOR DEVELOPING MEDIATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for developing a mediating device by which a time required for developing the device is drastically shortened by selecting and using some previously defined service independent building blocks. SOLUTION: A service creating environment SCE. is used for creating service logic to execute the function of the mediating device capable of realizing protocol transformation. SCE is constituted of a creating means CRM, a developing means DEM and a database DB1. The creating means CRM consists of a selecting means constituted to create service logic through the use of a graphical user interface and to select the service independent building block which is called SIB from a provided repository or library. The developing means DEM processes service data intrinsic to the mediating device together with service logic. The graphical user interface is executed on PC.
