PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel a registered reservation even if though the power source of a TV receiver is off by allowing a remote controller to gain/display specific information of a presently registered reserved program from a digital broadcasting receiver and to allow a user to designate a reserved program to be canceled to inform the digital broadcasting receiver of the reserved program to be canceled. SOLUTION: When a canceling key is depressed, a CPU on the side of the remote controller sends out information for informing the receiver of reserved programs presently displayed on a reservation list picture through an infrared output part. At receiving of information on the reserved program to be canceled from the CPU on the side of the remote controller, when reserved program specific information to the reserved program to which should be canceled is held in a nonvolatile memory 17, a CPU 14 on the side of the receiver cancels specific information on the reserved program with respect to this reserved program to be canceled from the memory 17, and sends out a command expressing the completion of the reservation cancel through an infrared output part 19. |
