PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semisubterranean storage having comparatively large space wherein an electric water heater, etc., can be installed by effectively utilizing a dead space under the floor of a house. SOLUTION: The ground under the floor is dug down, and a bottom surface and four side surfaces are enclosed with a wallboard 11 to form a top opened storage 10. Then, a coupling plate 12 having an air vent is attached between a top end of the storage 10 and a sleeper 6, and air permeability is given to the storage 10. Moreover, a drain 14 is provided on a bottom surface of the storage 10 to connect an underground drainage infiltration pit 15, and a back flow check valve 16 is provided on this drainage channel.
