PURPOSE: An apparatus for digital television signal transmission and a method for managing the apparatus are provided to control the management of plurality of modulator using a personal computer. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for digital television signal transmission includes a modulator group(10), a high power amplifier(50), a vector signal analyzer(80), and a control system(200). The modulator group(10) includes a plurality of modulators(11,12) modulating received broadcasting signal to compensate for errors. The high power amplifier(50) amplifies the output signal from the modulator group with a predetermined gain. The vector signal analyzer(80) compensates the non-linearity of the output of the high power amplifier and generates a filter coefficient value. The control system(200) controls the modulator group to maintain optimal filter coefficient value by transferring the filter coefficient value from the vector signal analyzer.
