PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit effective pumping of solid stage laser medium through the simplified and low price structure. SOLUTION: A laser oscillator 10 has a bar type solid state laser medium 11 to oscillate the laser beam. In one side of the solid state laser medium 11, a pumping light source 12 for applying the pumped beam to the side surface of the solid state laser medium 11 and in the other side of the solid state laser medium 11, an elliptical column type reflecting mirror 15 is provided to guide the pumped beam from the pumping light source 12 by reflecting the pumped beam from the pumping light source 12. Moreover, a cylindrical reflecting mirror 16 and a flat reflecting mirror 17 are provided opposing to the elliptical column type reflecting mirror 15 via the solid-state laser medium 11. As a result, the pumped beam reflected by the elliptical column type reflecting mirror 15 is then reflected and then guided to the side surface of the solid state laser medium 11. |
