PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket that can prevent a semiconductor element mounted on a printed circuit board from causing malfunction due to noise. SOLUTION: This socket has a structure provided with a socket body 1, contacts 2 which are arranged in the socket body 1 in parallel with one another and inserted into and pulled out from a printed circuit board on which a semiconductor element is mounted, latch arms 32 which are projected from the corresponding positions of both end parts 11a, 11a of the socket body 1 to form a generally U-shaped form and are used to remove the inserted printed circuit board along the U-shaped inside surface 3a thereof, and a metal shell 3 which is provided with a base part 31 and a shield part 33 that is supported by the base part 31 and rotates to shield the printed circuit board. |
