PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable card case in which it can be carried while being stored in a pocket of clothes or a bag and the like, its material cost is less expensive, it has a high strength and a superior outer appearance, it does not hurt a hand or a finger tip, its lid can be easily opened or closed and a card loading or unloading may easily be performed. SOLUTION: There are provided a metallic concave dish-shaped case member 1 and a metallic concave dish-shaped lid member 2 having edges 1a, 2a pivotally attached to each other through a hinge 3; card pressing pieces 4, 4 placed at inner surfaces of the case member 1 and the lid member 2 facing at the hinge 3 are raised when the lid member 2 is opened and folded inwardly when the lid member 2 is closed; and a stopper 5 arranged at the other edge 1b of the case member 1 to keep the closed state of the lid member 2, wherein abutting circumferential edges 1c, 2c of the case member 1 and the lid member 2 are folded inwardly to form curled edges and then each of the surface circumferential edges of the case member 1 and the lid member 2 is formed with frame edge pressing portions 1d, 2d having a predetermined width.
