Information is displayed in digital form at various points in the cycle of operations as shown in Fig. 4. By using fault-finding information sheets faults can be diagnosed by comparing the signals which indicate a malfunction with those on the sheet. Fig. 2 illustrates a control circuit which, when a button S is pressed causes a ram 24 to contract and then return to the extended position shown. A spring-loaded switch 78 is actuated by an abutment 68 at the end of the contraction stroke to effect reversal and a switch 70 stops the ram when the extension stroke is complete.
