PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interdental brush hardly peeling off a coating and without causing hyperesthesia caused by contact by a metallic wire with a tooth or gingiva, unpleasant incompatibility caused by contact with metal, the injury of teeth of gingiva the rusting of the metallic wire and the like preventing coating from being peeled simply. SOLUTION: In this interdental brush in which a brush part 3 is formed by twist-fixing synthetic fibers 5 between metallic torsion wires 4, the metallic wire 4a constituting the wires 4 is coated with fluororesin 6. Due to the characteristic of fluororesin 6, the coating is hardly peeled off to prevent hyperesthesia caused by contact of the metallic wire with the tooth or gingiva, unpleasant incompatibility caused by contact with the metal, the injury of the teeth or gingiva, the rusting of the metallic wire, etc. In addition, due to the fluroresin, dirt is hardly stuck to the wire 4, and water is smoothly removed, thus the brush is made excellent in hygiene.
