PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device capable of preventing breakage of a closing body and also keeping the closing state of a part to be closed by the closing body. SOLUTION: A noncombustible sheet body 6 for closing a part 1 to be closed such as an emergency exit or the like is provided vertically movably along the part 1 to be closed. A sheet winding body 5 adapted to wind up the sheet body 6 in such a manner as to be rewound is rotatably provided above the part 1 to be closed. In case of emergency where a fire occurs, the sheet body 6 is rewound from the sheet winding body 5 until the lower end is landed to close the part 1 to be closed. The lower end part of the sheet body 6 put in the state of closing the part 1 to be closed is held by a holding means 13. In the case where the sheet body 6 is deformed to be contracted in the direction of opening the part 1 to be closed, the sheet body 6 is delivered from the sheet winding body 5 according to the amount of contractive deformation by a sheet deliver means 41.
