ELECTROSTATIC POWDER COATING GUN AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona charging type electrostatic powder coating gun capable of increasing the supply amt. of powder paint without bringing about the lowering of coating efficiency and an electrostatic powder coating method using the same. SOLUTION: A nozzle support 4 is attached to a gun main body 2 through a rod 3 and eight nozzles 5a-5h are arranged to the nozzle support 4 on one straight line. Each of the nozzles 5a-5h is connected to the powder flow passage 7 in the gun main body 2 by a tube 6 and corona discharge electrodes 11a-11h are provided at every nozzles 5a-5h. Further, protective resistors are provided at every corona discharge electrodes 11a-11h.
